What's New in VFP 2025 R6
With the June 2025 release of Viewpoint For Projects, you can batch vote on the contents of a package of information to provide feedback on multiple items at once. We updated the search terms for items by incorporating Tender Container and Tender Project, replacing older terminology. A description field has been introduced to different parts of VFP so you can more easily see documents and drawings you are working on. Naming conventions now have a maximum length of 150 characters for a list component item name and description. We also updated VFP to incorporate the April 2025 version of the Uniclass Classification Tables.
Description Field
When revising a static virtual container, notification transmittals and task, discussion, or workflow attachments, you can now see a Description field. This is beneficial for users who heavily use naming conventions to be able to keep track of the document or drawing they are working on.
Batch Vote for Virtual Containers
Now you can apply decisions to multiple documents in a virtual container with Batch Votes. Use Batch Vote/Comment to access the containers and provide feedback.
Uniclass Classification Tables
We updated VFP to the April 2025 version of Uniclass Classification Tables.
Tender Container and Tender Project Search
We added Tender Container and Tender Project to the advanced item search, replacing the legacy PM Doc and PM Doc Container.
