Performance Review Dashboard Fields

The following tables provide descriptions for the fields shown on the Performance Review Dashboard.

Performance Review Admins can access the Performance Review Dashboard by selecting Employee Tools > Manage Performance Reviews. Select an employee line on the dashboard to expand that line and view performance review history. See Performance Review Dashboard for additional information.

Header Fields

The following fields display at the top of the Performance Review Dashboard.

Header FieldsDescription
CompanyShows the list of companies available to the logged-in user. Select a company from the dropdown.
Initialize Reviews buttonAllows Performance Review Admins to send performance reviews to employees (if self-reviews are enabled) and managers. Selecting this button opens a pop-up window where you can choose a review template, the employees whose reviews you want to initialize, and the review due date.
Manage Review Templates buttonAllows Performance Review Admins to add, edit, and deactivate performance review templates.
Send Bulk Email ReminderAllows you to send a reminder email to all employees (if self-reviews are enabled) and managers who have not yet submitted performance reviews.
Note: To remind individual employees or managers, use the Action > Send Reminder option available by selecting an employee's name on the Performance Review Dashboard page. See the expanded field descriptions in the table below for more details.
Export buttonAllows you to download a report for the reviews currently showing on the Performance Review Dashboard. The report includes employee and manager review details, the review template used, initialized date, due date, and review statuses.
You can use the From Date and To Date fields to limit the data shown on this report to a specific date range.
  • To download a PDF version of the report, select Export Tabular.
  • To download an Excel version of the report, select Export Excel.
Note: To view a list of generated reports, select the Bell icon on the navigation bar. Once selected, a list of report tiles display. To download your report, select the tile, or to remove a report tile, select x.
From Date / To DateAllows you to set a date range for filtering employee reviews on the dashboard.
TemplateAllows you to filter employee reviews showing on the dashboard by review template. Select a template from the dropdown to view only those employee reviews that used that specific template.
StatusAllows you to filter employee reviews showing on the dashboard by review status based on the company, date range, and selected template. Status options:
  • All: All reviews that were initialized during the current date range for the selected template.
  • In Progress: Reviews that have been initialized and are in progress but not completed.
  • Awaiting Manager Finalize: Reviews that the employee has finalized but not the manager.
  • Awaiting Employee Finalize: Reviews that the employee has completed and that either one manager has completed or all managers have completed based on the portal setting Require Employee and All Managers to Complete in order to Finalize reviews:
    • If this setting is enabled, the employee and all managers must complete the review for it to reach the status Awaiting Employee Finalize.
    • If this setting is not enabled, the employee and at least one manager must complete the review for it to reach the status Awaiting Employee Finalize.
  • Finalized: Reviews that have been finalized by the employee and manager.
Note: Review status analytics display in the upper right of the dashboard. Analytics correspond to the statuses shown in the dashboard grid.
SearchAllows you to search for employee reviews by employee name or number.

Expanded Fields

The following fields display after you select an employee line on the dashboard to expand that line.

Expanded FieldsDescription
Employee Number and EmployeeShow the employee number and name for employees who have performance reviews for the selected filter and search options.
Last Review InitializedThe date on which the employee's most recent performance review was initialized.
Performance Review ManagerThe manager assigned to this employee on the User Access > Performance page.
Performance Review GroupThe employee group assigned to this employee on the User Access > Performance page. Each member of this performance review group must sign off on the employee's review before it can be finalized.
Date InitializedThe date that the selected review was initialized.
Due DateThe date that the selected review was or is due.
Review Template NameThe performance review template that was used for the selected review.
Employee StatusIf self-reviews are enabled, this field shows the employee's status for the review. Completed reviews include a link to the form that the employee completed.
Overall StatusThe combined employee (if self-reviews are enabled) and manager status for the selected performance review.
Overall ScoreThe combined score that the employee received for a finalized performance review or the combined score as it currently stands for reviews not yet finalized.
Action buttonThe Action button provides the following options:
  • View/Edit Reviewers: Allows you to view all reviewers assigned to this employee's performance reviews, add or remove reviewers, and unsubmit manager reviews (if completed) as needed.
  • Send Reminder: Allows you to send a reminder email to employees (if self-reviews are enabled) or managers who have not yet completed their portion of the performance review. To send a bulk email reminder to all employees and managers with unsubmitted performance reviews, use the Send Bulk Email Reminder button at the top of the Performance Dashboard page.
  • Download Combined Review: Allows you to download a PDF that includes the employee's self-review form (if self-reviews are enabled) and manager review form.
  • Unsubmit Employee Review: Allows you to unsubmit the employee's completed review (if self-reviews are enabled) so that the employee can make changes.
  • Purge: Allows you to purge the performance review session.
