What's New in HR Management for Spectrum 2025 R5

The 2025 R5 release of HR Management for Spectrum introduces HR Role Management. This release is available as of May 29, 2025.

New! Manage HR Roles at hr.viewpoint.com

HR user roles (HR admin and HR specialist) are now managed exclusively in HR Management (hr.viewpoint.com). They are no longer managed in Trimble Construction One (team.viewpoint.com).

As part of this change, a new HR Role Management page has been added. Access this new page from the main menu or the HR Admin Tools section on the home page.

Note: You must be an IT Admin or an HR Admin to access the HR Role Management page.

The new HR Role Management page includes tabs for managing HR Roles and IT Admins.

From the HR Roles tab, you can view or modify HR user roles, determine which employee records your HR users can view, and enable or disable a user's access to your portal. For details, see Manage HR User Roles.

Note: New users added in hr.viewpoint.com are listed on the HR Roles tab only if they are attached to an employee record.

From the IT Admins tab, you can add or remove enterprise-level administrators in your portal. For details, see Add or Remove IT Admins.

Note: The HR Role Management page replaces the IT Admins page introduced in version 2025 R4. You can continue to manage your IT Admins from the IT Admins tab in HR Role Management.

User Management - Beta Page Removed

The legacy User Management - Beta page has been removed, as its capabilities are being migrated to the new HR Role Management section. This change eliminates redundancy and streamlines user management.
