Sort the selected cost items

  1. Open a job in the Manage Estimates screen.
  2. Open the Estimate tab.
  3. Select the cost items you want to sort.
  4. Click Advanced Sort on the filter toolbar.
    Tip: Select columns in the estimate before you click Advanced Sort to have those columns pre-selected in the Sort popup window.
  5. In the Sort field (unlabeled), select the first column you want to sort by.
  6. Select one of the following options for sorting the selected cost items:
    • Ascending - To sort the column alphabetically from A to Z or numerically from smallest to largest.

    • Descending - To sort the estimate in reverse alphabetical order from Z to A or numerically from largest to smallest.

  7. Repeat steps 5 and 6 for each column you want to sort. You can sort up to six columns.
  8. To sort the selected items by the options you selected, click OK.
  9. Click to the right of on the filter toolbar to remove the sort.
