Export to Microsoft Excel

Use the Estimating Import/Export Tool to export to Microsoft Excel from:

  • NotePad

  • Catalog

  • Estimate - You can select to export the cost item detail and/or the estimate totals.

  • Summary - You can select to export the summary item detail and/or the summary totals.

Note: You must have Microsoft Excel installed on the computer to be able to export to it, and that Excel cannot be running during an export.

To open a job in the Manage Estimates screen, click Estimating > Estimating > Manage Estimates in the All Tasks pane. Then select the job you want to open, and click OK.
