AutoCAD screen
Use the AutoCAD screen to export layers of a job to an AutoCAD file.
Once you digitize elevations for the existing and proposed layers of a job, you can export the layers to AutoCAD. Exporting layers creates a new AutoCAD file that you can open and work with in AutoCAD. Each layer you export is exported as a separate layer in the AutoCAD file. You also have the option of exporting lines of each layer or a mesh of each layer.
You can export AutoCAD files with either a DWG file extension, which is the standard AutoCAD format, or a DXF file extension.
