Create and email a PDF file of the customer lien release form

ProContractor creates the PDF file from the lien release form selected on the Enter Customer Lien Notice & Release screen for the select lien release type. When creating the lien release, you also have the option to view, print, or email the PDF. The PDF file of the lien release form and any binder item attachment that has the Attach when E-mailing checkbox selected are attached to the e-mail.

Note: You must have the software required to open a PDF file—such as Adobe Reader—installed on your computer to be able to view it.
Note: You must have MAPI-compliant e-mail software—such as Microsoft Outlook—installed on your computer to send an e-mail message with an attachment.
  1. Open the Enter Customer Lien Notice & Release popup window.
  2. In the On Save of Document section, select the Create PDF checkbox.
  3. For the system to display the PDF after creation, select the View checkbox.
  4. To print the PDF, select the Print checkbox.
  5. To email the PDF, select the E-mail checkbox. ProContractor records this activity and you can view it on the Enter Customer Lien Notice Release screen.
  6. Click OK.
  7. Click Save Notice.
