What's New in Traqspera 2025 R7
The 2025 R7 release of Traqspera includes improvements to the Self-Configuration Guides. This release is available as of May 29, 2025.
New Features
Self-Configuration Guides
The following additions and improvements were made to the self-configuration guides.

New Expense Setup Guide: Use this guide to configure the expense types, AP expense categories, reimbursable expense categories, vendor codes, and other expense settings to use in your portal.
Note: You must complete the Equipment guide before you can unlock the Expense Setup guide. After you finish the Expense Setup guide, the Roles and Permissions guide will become available. -
Timesheet Initial Setup Guide:

If you answer Yes to Do your employees need to attest to timesheet hours, work breaks, workplace safety, or answer other custom legal questions each day? the Use Employee Attestation setting (added in version 2025 R5) is enabled when you save the guide.

Daily time periods are no longer required to use daily attestation.

Job and Phase Code Setup Guide: A warning now displays if you try to proceed without selecting at least one cost type for labor, equipment, or expense phase code mapping.

Advanced Timesheet Setup Guide:
- If you include Regular Hours, Overtime Hours, Double Time Hours, Travel, or Per Diem / LOA fields on timesheets, a message now displays indicating that you must select a Pay Type or Cost Type for those fields before you can continue.
- Adding the Per Diem / LOA field to timesheets now opens a new page for you to set a global default rate.
- Added the option Name with hidden dollar amount. If you select this option, the LOA Field Type setting will automatically be set to Dropdown - Name Only.

Permissions and Roles Setup Guide:

Added a new section for Time Off Requests Permissions. Use this section to configure permissions for Time Off Requests and approvals.
Note: You must have an HR license to configure permissions for Time Off Requests.

Error messages that display during self-configuration now include a Submit Ticket button. This button links to the Viewpoint Customer Portal, where you can submit a case for assistance.

New Permission: View All Time Off: Allows users to view all time off requests without seeing specific request details or time off balances. This can be useful for approvers who need to see other requests they are not authorized to approve, and for employees to see who else has requested time off on the same days.
Note: You must have an HR license to configure permissions for Time Off Requests.
Improvements
Timesheets
The Timesheet Summary now prints information for one employee per page.
Issues Fixed
To see a list of defects fixed in this version, go to the Track Cases/Issues page on the Viewpoint Customer Portal. Use the filter options to select your product and module. In the Fixed In Version field, select this version, then select Apply Filters.
