What's New in Traqspera 2025 R6

The 2025 R6 release of Traqspera includes a redesigned Rate Level page and improvements to Time Off Requests. This release is available as of May 15, 2025.

New Features

Redesigned Rate Level Page

The Manage Rate Level page has been redesigned for an improved user experience and to align with Trimble design standards. This new page, renamed Rate Level, includes the enhancements described below. For more details, see Configure Rate Levels.

  • New Tabs for Union Code(s) and Wage Code(s): The Rate Level page offers separate tabs for configuring rate levels based on union codes or wage codes, streamlining the setup process.

The Union Code(s) tab allows you to enable rate levels across union codes. Changes made on this tab apply to all wage codes within a union code.

The Wage Code(s) tab allows you to enable rate levels for specific wage codes within a union code. You can use the Search field at the top of the page to search for specific union codes.

  • Apply Rate Levels by Column: Select a column header to quickly apply a specific rate level to all union code codes within a company (Union Code(s) tab) or all wage codes within a union (Wage Code(s) tab).

  • Bulk Enable Rate Levels: Toggle all rate levels on (or off) for all union codes within a company (Union Code(s) tab) or all wage codes within a specific union code (Wage Code(s) tab).

  • Add Rate Levels from Spectrum: Select the new Configure Rate Level(s) button in the upper right of the page to add more Spectrum rate levels for union and wage code configuration.

After you select Configure Rate Level(s), a side panel opens. Select Add Rate Level. Then enter a Rate Level code and Description. To apply a new rate level to all union codes and wage codes automatically, select the checkbox Apply all Union Code(s) and Wage Code(s) to newly added Rate Level(s).

Improvements

Application Settings

In Export Configuration Settings, you can now manually add cost types in the following settings:

  • Timesheet Hour Field - Pay Type - Cost Type Mapping
  • Equipment - Pay Type Mapping
  • Expense - Tax / Pay Type Mapping

To add a cost type, select one of the settings listed above. Then select Manage Spectrum Cost Type. In the Manage Cost Types window, enter the cost type Code and Name. Then select Save.

Self-Configuration Guides

A new Summary Page now displays after you have completed all self-configuration modules. From the summary page, you can do the following:

  • Access links to learning resources, including Trimble Learn and Traqspera Help, and information on how to Test User Roles and Permissions.

  • Finalize Self-Configuration if you are satisfied with your setup.

  • Reset Self-Configuration Setup if you want to clear the data from all self-configuration modules and start over with your setup.

User Management

User Management is now included when testing user roles. In test mode, the User Management menu option is highlighted in pink for test roles that do not have permission to it. See Test User Roles and Permissions for more details.

Time Off Requests

If you allow users to assign jobs to time off requests (Time Off Request Mode is set to Manual Select):

  • Rate levels configured under Pay Type Override by Rate Level now take precedence over Pay Type Override By Job / Phases.

Note: Configure pay type overrides under Settings > Spectrum Settings > Spectrum Export Override Setup.
  • If you have configured rate levels under Pay Type Override by Rate Level, a new Rate Level drop-down field (optional) displays on the Add Request window. This allows users to select the applicable rate level for their time off request. The Rate Level field also displays when editing or approving a Time Off Request.

Note: To allow users to change rate levels on timesheets, you must enable the setting Allow Rate Level Override in Timesheets. In addition, users must have permission to View Rate Level on Timesheets and Edit Rate Level on Timesheets.

For more details about configuring Time Off Requests, see Set Up Time Off.
