Assign Licenses to Users

In the Admin Console, if a user doesn't already exist, they will be invited to create their Trimble ID when you assign them a license.

  • To be able to assign licenses, you need to purchase them. See Online Purchasing, or contact your sales rep.
  • If you want to assign licenses to more than 20 users (and add users at the same time, if needed), see Assign Licenses in Bulk.
To assign licenses to up to 20 users in the Admin Console:
  1. In the left pane, select Products & Licenses.
  2. In the grid, locate and select the name of the subscription.
  3. Select Manage subscription.
  4. Select Manage and then select Assign licenses.
  5. In the Name or email box, enter the email address of each user you want to grant a license to.
  6. Select Assign licenses.
    A pop-up indicates the number of licenses assigned. Select Done.
What happens next:
  • Licenses are assigned to the entered users.
  • Each user receives an email from noreply@accounts.trimble.com.
  • Any user who does not already have a Trimble ID is provided with a link to create their Trimble ID.
