Import stock receipt data to enter inventory quantities for catalog items without a purchase order from Microsoft Excel. You could import stock receipts to record initial inventory quantities.

1. Optional: If you haven't already done so, enter or import catalog items.
2. On the Import Data screen, import stock receipt data from Microsoft Excel.
3. Post the stock receipts in the posting group.
4. On the View Warehouse Quantities screen, review inventory quantities to confirm the accuracy of the stock receipts.
5. Optional: Modify unit costs and quantities for items, as needed.

After you import stock receipts, you may want to:

• Create an Inventory Usage Entry
• Run Material Reports
