Log into ProContractor in ProContractor Cloud

Instructions for logging in to ProContractor.

Once your Cloud administrator has established your connection to ProContractor Cloud PCC, you can log into ProContractor in the cloud environment.
  1. Log in from a Windows workstation:
    1. Double-click on your workstation's desktop shortcut to ProContractor on the Cloud environment. While the workstation attempts to connect to the Cloud environment, the screen below may appear. You do not have to take action on this screen.
    2. If you are logging in for the first time, you may be prompted to indicate that you trust the publisher of the RemoteApp program. If you are presented with the screen below, select the Don't ask me again... checkbox and select Connect.

    3. If the Windows Security screen appears:
      1. Enter your Cloud connection User name and Password. If you do not know your Cloud connection credentials, contact your Cloud Administrator.
      2. If you want Windows to remember these credentials, select the Remember my credentials checkbox.
    4. Select OK on the Windows Security screen.
      The ProContractor Login screen appears.
    5. Log in using Trimble ID or choose another authentication method in the Authentication dropdown.
      • If you select Windows, your Cloud connection credentials are automatically used to authenticate you.
      • If you select ProContractor, enter your ProContractor Login Name and Password.
      Note: If you do not know what type of authentication to use, or if you are using ProContractor authentication but do not know your login name and password, contact your Cloud administrator.
    6. In the Database field, select the database.
      Note: ProContractor is installed with two default user databases. One of these databases is a demo database (MaxDemo) that is populated with practice data. You can use the demo database to test ProContractor functions and their impact in a safe environment. The other database (MaxApp) is the production database, which is your live system.
    7. Select OK.
  2. Log in from a Mac:
    1. In your cloud environment, double-click on your workstation's desktop shortcut to ProContractor.
      Once the connection to ProContractor is established, the login page appears.
    2. Log in using Trimble ID or choose another authentication method in the Authentication dropdown.
      • If you select Windows, your Cloud connection credentials are automatically used to authenticate you.
      • If you select ProContractor, enter your ProContractor Login Name and Password.
      Note: If you do not know what type of authentication to use, or if you are using ProContractor authentication but do not know your login name and password, contact your Cloud administrator.
    3. In the Database field, select the database.
      Note: ProContractor is installed with two default user databases. One of these databases is a demo database (MaxDemo) that is populated with practice data. The other database (MaxApp) is the production database, which should be used to define and maintain your live system.
    4. Select OK.
  3. Log in from an iPad:
    1. Tap the RD Client icon on your Home page.
      The screen now displays an icon for each application to which you have access in the Cloud environment.
    2. Tap the ProContractor icon .
      After the connection to ProContractor is established, the ProContractor login page appears.
    3. Log in using Trimble ID or choose another authentication method in the Authentication dropdown.
      • If you select Windows, your Cloud connection credentials are automatically used to authenticate you.
      • If you select ProContractor, enter your ProContractor Login Name and Password.
      Note: If you do not know what type of authentication to use, or if you are using ProContractor authentication but do not know your login name and password, contact your Cloud administrator.
    4. In the Database field, select the database.
