Invite a User to Link Their Email Address to Trimble ID

You can invite individual users to link their email address to Trimble ID from the User Details page.

To bulk invite users to link their email address to Trimble ID, see Verify Trimble ID Users.
  1. Select Settings > User Management.

    The User Management page opens showing a list of all users in the enterprise.

  2. Use the Search and filter options to narrow the list of users shown.
    1. To search for a specific user by name, enter that person's name, or a portion of their name, in the Search field.
    2. To filter the list of users by role, license type, access level, or Trimble ID status, use the dropdown fields above the Users grid. If you enterprise has multiple companies, you can also filter by company.
      Tip: When filtering by role, license, or company, you can select more than one item from the dropdown field.
  3. In the Users list, select the user's name.

    After you select a user's name, their User Details page opens showing either a green Connected badge or a red Not Connected badge to indicate whether this user has linked their email address to Trimble ID.

    Note: The Deactivate User button displays only if the user has an active account.

  4. To prompt a user to link their email address to Trimble ID, select Invite in the Linked to TID section of their tile.

    The system sends an email to the user's email address on file in User Management, with instructions on how to connect their email address to Trimble ID.

  5. If a user's email address was connected to the wrong Trimble ID, you can select Relink in the Linked to TID section of their tile.

    The system sends an email to the user's email address on file in User Management, with instructions on how to relink their email address to Trimble ID.
