Set Digital Takeoff (DTO) File Naming Preferences
Use the DTO File Naming Preferences to set detailed options for your digital takeoff exports.
Save Selected Pages Using Original Page Numbers
Set your preferences for saving pages using original page numbers.
- Go to Image Export Naming Options for Saved Files > Preview/Adjust > DTO File Naming Preferences.
- In the Image File Name Beginning section, select one of the following options:
- Use Original File Name: Begins the file name with the name of the original file.
- Enter Text: Begins the file name with the text you enter.
- In the Image File Name Middle section, select one of the following options:
- Skip: Does not include a middle part in the file name.
- Enter Text: Includes the text you enter in the middle of the file name.
- In the Image Information section, select options as needed:
- Include Image DPI: Includes the resolution in the file name.
- Include Image Rendering Type (BPP/Color Format): Includes the rendering type in the file name.
- In the Image File Name End section, select one of the following options for the page number in the file name:
- Use 'Page' + # (Original Page Number): Ends the file name with the word "Page" and the original page number.
- Use 'Pg' + # (Original Page Number): Ends the file name with the word "Pg" and the original page number.
- Use # (Original Page Number): Ends the file name with the original page number.
- Select the # of digits field, and choose the number of digits for the page number in the file name.
- In the Action After Saving Files section, select the appropriate option:
- Mark images as completed after saving
- Remove entry from page list after saving
- In the Duplicate File Name Options section, select the appropriate option to indicate how Advanced Image Manager will handle duplicate file names:
- Prompt If File With Same Name Exists
- Overwrite File If Same Name Already Exists
- Append Revision Number If File With Same Name Exists
- Select OK to save your options.
Save Selected Pages as Separate Files Using Auto-numbering
Set your preferences for saving pages as a separate files using auto-numbered pages.
- Go to Image Export Naming Options for Saved Files > Preview/Adjust > DTO File Naming Preferences.
- In the Image File Name Beginning section, select one of the following options:
- Use Original File Name: Begins the file name with the name of the original file.
- Enter Text: Begins the file name with the text you enter.
- In the Image File Name Middle section, select one of the following options:
- Skip: Does not include a middle part in the file name.
- Enter Text: Includes the text you enter in the middle of the file name.
- In the Image Information section, select options as needed:
- Include Image DPI: Includes the resolution in the file name.
- Include Image Rendering Type (BPP/Color Format) - Includes the rendering type in the file name.
- In the Image File Name End section, select one of the following options for the page number in the file name:
- Use 'Page' + # (Auto Increment Number): Ends the file name with the word "Page" and an assigned page number.
- Use 'Pg' + # (Auto Increment Number): Ends the file name with the word "Pg" and an assigned page number.
- Use # (Auto Increment Number): Ends the file name with an assigned page number.
- Select the # of digits field, and choose the number of digits for the page number in the file name.
- In the AutoNumber Options section, do one of the following:
- Select the Choose Starting Number checkbox to enter the number that will begin the naming sequence.
- Clear the Choose Starting Number checkbox to begin the naming sequence at 1.
- Select the Track Last Number Used checkbox to track the last number used when using Auto Increment Number.
- Clear the Track Last Number Used checkbox so that the last number used will not be incremented for this session. The numbering will begin at 1.
- In the Action After
Saving Files section, select the appropriate option:
- Mark images as completed after saving
- Remove entry from page list after saving
- In the Duplicate
File Name Options section, select the appropriate option to
indicate how Advanced Image
Manager will handle duplicate file names:
- Prompt If File With Same Name Exists
- Overwrite File If Same Name Already Exists
- Append Revision Number If File With Same Name Exists
- Select OK to save your options.
