Modified: 12 May 2026 Trimble Connect Help

Lead or participate in real-time model reviews using Live Collaboration in Trimble Connect. Learn how to interact with participants, manage your view, and control session settings.

Interact with Collaborators

You can track the movements of other participants or lead a session by controlling the camera view:

  • Follow a collaborator: To follow another collaborator's camera movements, select their avatar icon follow in the side pane. While you are following them, their profile picture is highlighted in blue. To stop following, select the profile picture.
  • Enforce following: To force all other participants to follow your camera movements, select your own avatar. A megaphone icon enforce following displays next to your avatar when you enforce following. To stop the forced following, select your avatar again.
  • Manage avatars: When collaborators use perspective projection, their avatars display as a head with a hard hat symbol. To hide these avatars, select hide avatars. To make them visible again, select show avatars.
Note: These avatars do not appear in orthographic projects.
